Sales team members listen and qualify our customers' needs in a friendly and efficient manner. Sales, cycling, and ski knowledge is a plus but we do offer up-front training and year-round product learning.

Bike Mechanics Wanted

At Mike's Bike Shop in the heart of beautiful New Brunswick, we service every bike with the best mechanics, tools and resources possible. No matter the bike that rolls through our doors, we treat it like it's our own.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide high level customer service through bike diagnosis and repair service
  • Knowledgeable in bleeding and servicing disc brakes
  • Knowledgeable in suspension forks and shocks including servicing and tuning
  • Build, tension and true wheels
  • Complete repairs as scheduled in a fast-paced service department

Qualifications

  • 2 year previous experience working in the service department in the cycling industry
  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of all bicycles types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility
  • Knowledge of suspension forks and shocks, servicing and tuning, suspension kinematics, bearing overhauls 
  • Attention to detail, efficient and tidy work practice
  • Knowledge of electronic gear installation preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment as well as being able to work as part of a team
  • Experience with POS systems preferred
