The Japanther is designed for comfort in cold, wet weather without the bulk of a full winter boot. The design focuses on water resistance and thermal regulation for temperatures between approximately 25°F (-3°C) and 45°F (7°C).
Cleat Compatibility: It is compatible with 2-bolt SPD style cleats (mountain bike/gravel standard).

Weather Protection: Features a highly water-resistant and wind-resistant rubberized textile upper with a waterproof-breathable membrane. It uses a water-resistant side zipper and internal drawstring lacing system.

Outsole: The sole is made of soft rubber with anti-slip micro-glass filament lugs to improve traction on slippery surfaces like ice and wet wood.

Insole: The footbed is designed for insulation, featuring waffled foam, a heat-reflective aluminum layer, and a top coating of felted wool to prevent heat loss through the cleat.

Fit: It features a performance-oriented last with a roomy forefoot to allow for thicker socks and better circulation
