Mike Leblanc

Mike lives in Dieppe with his wife, daughter and dog Zen.

Since retiring from his government IT job in late 2023, by day he now works as a bicycle philosopher / tea and kombucha drinker / family cook / dog walker, and by evening's a yoga teacher in training.

Mike’s mad love affair with bikes started the day he learned how to ride by himself as a young boy, without training wheels, using the neighbor’s bike.  And he’s been riding ever since.  From BMX to mountain biking to road and gravel.  Mike rides 5 – 6 days each week.  Always outside.  Year round.

Other ways Mike contributes to his community are leading the Mike’s Bike Shop Thursday night social gravel rides throughout the summer, volunteering at the Dieppe Canada Cup mountain bike event as well as having volunteered and fundraised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). 

Other ways Mike stays active are yoga, hiking and walking his dog.
